Core Beliefs
-
We believe with key resources and tools, any community is capable of coming together and prosper.
-
We believe with these key resources, we can aid any individual with life threatening diseases.
-
We believe that the lack of education is a fundamental barrier to eradicate
any dreaded disease.
-
We believe that no one charity can solve the problems of all communities
-
We believe that collaboration with key Health Care Service resources
enable
at risk individuals a chance to survive, and maintain a decent quality of life.
What We Do
Provide Educational Material about HIV/AIDS to teens and adults Provide

Financial Aid to local Health Service Organizations
-
Tears of Hope was established in
2004 by President/CEO Ezra Sweis. Tears of Hope began its mission to raise
funds to provide financial relief to organizations that deal with HIV/AIDS.
-
Tears of Hope chose to focus its efforts
educating children, especially teens, because they are the future community
leaders of our great nation.
-
We are a Non-Profit organization geared
at educating California's youth about HIV/AIDS. We consist of a board of
directors of 6 looking for a 7th.
-
Our organization is highly dependent on
our volunteer base and are always looking for quality people who want to get
involved! We are locally based out of the Sacramento area.
-
We are about INFORMATION!! We will be participating in
local events and are looking for people to GET INVOLVED. If you are
interested contact us here or on our website,
www.tearsofhope-us.org.
-
We are anxious to meet everyone! If you
want to meet us, your first opportunity will be in May at the Pacific Rim
Street Festival, on May 20th. We will be hosting a booth, with info on who
we are and what is going on!! HIV/AIDS is completely preventable, and one
way we can prevent it is by educating today's youth.
-
They are the future and everything we can
do to protect them, should be done. Education is the best way to protect
everyone. The more they know the better choices they will make! I know that
the saying "Ignorance is Bliss," well in this case "Ignorance is Killing
people," and we can change that!
